Parking and Traffic Alert - May 10 & 12

DURHAM, N.C. – On Friday, May 10th and Sunday, May 12th, Duke University will host the NCAA Women's Tennis Super Regional in Ambler Tennis Stadium and the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship First Round in Koskinen Stadium. In the NCAA Women's Tennis Championship Super Regional, Duke will face North Carolina State on Friday, May 10th at 6:00 PM. In the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship First Round, Duke will face Richmond on Sunday, May 12th at 5:00 PM.

Fans traveling to campus for these events should be aware of the following parking and traffic alerts. Please review the information below and leave extra time in your travels to ensure that you arrive at the parking area and stadium at your desired time.  Please follow the direction of parking lot attendants, traffic control officers, and police officers at all times.

TRAFFIC ALERT

Expect Heavy Traffic On Campus Due to Duke University Commencement – Fans traveling to campus for NCAA Championship events should be aware that these events coincide with Duke University Commencement Weekend activities. As a result, traffic will be very heavy on campus and on neighboring roads. Please refer to the provided driving directions for recommended ingress routes to the parking areas for each event. Please follow the directions of traffic staffing posted around campus at all times. In the event that parking lots reach capacity, parking lot attendants and traffic staffing will direct fans to the next closest available parking lot.

NCAA TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP PARKING INFORMATION

General Public Parking for NCAA Women's Tennis Championship – General Public parking for the NCAA Women's Tennis Championship will be located in the Blue Zone Lots on Wannamaker Drive off of Duke University Road (GPS Address: 2300 Duke University Road). There is no charge to park. For Friday's Super Regional match, the Blue Zone Lots will open at 4:00 PM.

Accessible Parking for NCAA Women's Tennis Championship – Accessible parking for guests with disabilities for the NCAA Women's Tennis Championship will be located in the Card Lot on Towerview Road (GPS Address: 320 Towerview Road). There is no charge to park. For Friday's Super Regional match, the Card Lot will open at 4:00 PM. An accessible drop-off/pick-up point is available in the Card Lot located immediately outside the general public entrance to Ambler Tennis Stadium. Please speak to the parking lot attendant for access for accessible parking or drop-off/pick-up.

NCAA MEN'S LACROSSE CHAMPIONSHIP PARKING INFORMATION

Heavy Traffic and No Early Game Day Parking due to Duke University Commencement – Due to Duke University Commencement and Departmental Ceremonies on Sunday, May 12th, there will be very heavy traffic and no game day parking available prior to 3:00 PM. Starting at 3:00 PM, please park in the game day lots listed below. 

General Public Tailgate Parking – is available in the Grounds Lot located off of NC 751/Cameron Blvd. between Duke University Road and Science Drive and in the Science Drive Visitors Lot (GPS Address: 49 Science Drive). Parking is available beginning at 3:00 PM. All entry/exit from the Grounds Lot on game day will be from NC 751/Cameron Blvd. There is no charge to park.

General Public Accessible Parking – is available in the Whitford Lot (GPS Address: 110 Whitford Drive) on Whitford Drive off of Science Drive beginning at 3:00 PM. An accessible drop-off/pick-up point for guests with disabilities is available on Whitford Drive outside the Brandaleone Family North Gate of Koskinen Stadium. Please speak to the lot attendant at the base of Whitford Drive for access for parking & drop-off/pick-up.
