Pagliuca Named to NABC Honors Court

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Rising senior Nick Pagliuca has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, as announced by the organization Tuesday. The NABC Honors Court recognizes collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in the classroom during the 2015-16 season. Pagliuca is a first-time honoree.

A native of Weston, Mass., Pagliuca is working towards earning his undergraduate degree in computer science with a minor in economics. The 6-3, 195-pound guard is set to enter his senior campaign with 24 career appearances in a Duke uniform. As a member of the Blue Devils' 2015 national championship team, Pagliuca saw action in 11 games, connecting on his first career three-pointer against Fairfield in the second game of the season. Pagliuca returns for his senior year in Durham as a three-time letterwinner for the Blue Devils.

In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2015-16 academic year, must academically be a junior or senior and a varsity player, must have matriculated at least one year at the current institution and must be a member of an NCAA Division I, II, III or NAIA Division I or II institution with a NABC member coach.
