DURHAM, N.C. – The No. 13 Duke women's lacrosse team heads to the 2016 ACC Championship as the tournament's No. 4 seed, and will face No. 5 seed Virginia in Thursday's quarterfinals. The 2:30 p.m. contest will be broadcast on RSN and ESPN3 from Virginia Tech's Lane Stadium.

Quick Hitters
The Blue Devils took the March 26 regular season meeting between the squads, 11-8, in Durham … Duke sophomore Kyra Harney picked up her team-leading ninth hat trick last weekend and continues to pace the attack with 57 points (43g, 14a) … Virginia is 9-7 following a win over Virginia Tech last weekend in Blacksburg … The Blue Devils are 18th in the latest NCAA RPI and the Cavaliers 12th.

Duke in the ACC Tournament

Duke and the Cavaliers will square off for the 36th time in program history and the 10th time in ACC Tournament play ... The Blue Devils trail Virginia in the all-time series, 13-22, and are 1-8 when facing the Cavaliers in the conference tournament ... Duke's 11-8 regular season win over Virginia March 26 in Durham marked the fourth straight for the squad in a strong stretch ... Senior goalkeeper Kelsey Duryea made 12 saves and sophomore attacker Kyra Harney tallied four goals and an assist in the victory ... Scouting the Cavaliers
Virginia enters ACC Tournament play as the No. 5 seed after going 3-4 in league play ... With 13 saves at Notre Dame (4/16), senior goalkeeper Kelsey Duryea (579 saves) moved into second on Duke's all-time career saves list, surpassing Shannon Chaney (568) ... Duryea owns 46 career victories in four seasons to trail only Megan Huether (60) on the program's all-time chart ... She continues to rank among the current national leaders in save percentage with a .529 clip ... The Beverly, Mass., native leads all active NCAA Div. I goalkeepers in career saves and is fifth among all active players in ground balls.
