DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's soccer duo of Toni Payne and EJ Proctor have been selected to the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week Tuesday, after helping guide the third-seeded Blue Devils past Stanford, 3-2, on penalty kicks Friday in Stanford, Calif.  Duke moved on to the NCAA College Cup for only the third time in school history.

Netting a first half goal for the Blue Devils, Payne put Duke ahead, 1-0, in the 14th minute.  A product of Birmingham, Ala., Payne totaled her second goal of the NCAA Tournament and third of the season. She has collected 10 points on the year up front for Duke.

Proctor, who hails from Wilson, N.C., faced 22 shots and made seven saves over 110 minutes of action.  In penalty kicks, she stopped two kicks as she helped the Blue Devils advance past Stanford, 3-2.  She owns 10 shutouts on the season, which leads the ACC and ranks second on the Duke all-time charts.

The Blue Devils will next face top-seeded Florida State Friday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m., at the WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.  The match will be aired live on ESPNU.
