Blue Devils Lead ACC in Digs in 2015

DURHAM, N.C. – For the third consecutive season, the Duke volleyball team led the ACC in digs per set, averaging 17.59 digs per frame in 2015.

Duke was the only ACC school to average over 17.00 digs per set and the Blue Devils ranked ninth nationally in that category.

Libero Sasha Karelov led the way for the Blue Devils, averaging 5.18 digs per set to rank second in the ACC and 24th nationally. Karelov was one of four Blue Devils to pick up over 200 digs in 2015 along with outside hitter Emily Sklar (283), setter Maggie Deichmeister (233) and defensive specialist Nicole Elattrache (247).
