DURHAM, N.C. - After being drafted third overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2015 NBA Draft and nearly averaging a double-double in five NBA Summer League games, Jahlil Okafor was back among his basketball family.
The 2015 ACC Player of the Year and consensus first-team All-American returned to Durham to work on his game and spend time with coaches and teammates prior to the start of his first NBA training camp later this month.
"If I had to choose one place to be for the rest of my life, it would be here at Duke," Okafor said. "It's just the environment. It's just one big family. I just love being here with my teammates. All my teammates are working hard, so I have no excuse but to work hard, as well."
Hear from Okafor and Duke head men's basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski, and take a behind-the-scenes look as Duke associate head coach Jeff Capel puts Okafor through a workout at Cameron Indoor Stadium, in this Blue Devil Network feature.
