Blue Devils Head West to Face Stanford in NCAA Quarterfinals...
For the sixth time out of the last nine years, the third-seded Duke women's soccer team (13-5-4) will play in the NCAA quarterfinals as the 19th-ranked Blue Devils will travel to Stanford, Calif., to face Stanford (19-2-1) Friday, Nov. 27 at 10 p.m. (ET) at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.

A Look at Stanford...
Stanford enters the NCAA quarterfinals with a 19-2-1 overall record and on a 14-match unbeaten streak. The Cardinal have not lost since Sept. 20 at Santa Clara (1-0). So far on the year, Stanford owns 12 different players that have scored a goal, but no player has more than five goals on the year. Kyra Carusa (5), Haley Rosen (5), Andi Sullivan (5) and Jordan DiBiasi (5) have led the team in scoring.
The Series with Stanford...
Duke and Stanford will meet for the 10th time in school history with the Cardinal leading the series, 8-1. The Blue Devils and Cardinal have met only once in NCAA Tournament action, which was the 2011 national championship match with Stanford winning, 1-0.
Stanford last defeated the Blue Devils, 2-0, a year ago in the UNC Nike Classic in Chapel Hill. The last six meetings between the two squad have come on neutral sites. The only match the squads have played at Stanford came Oct. 6, 1991 with the Cardinal winning, 1-0.
In the series, Stanford has outscored Duke, 12-6.

Hey, I Know You...
Duke junior Christina Gibbons and freshman Taylor Racioppi played with Stanford's Stephanie Amack, Andi Sullivan and Jane Campbell on the U.S. U-20 World Cup squad in 2014.
Racioppi also played on the 2013 CONCACAF U-17 Championship with Tegan McGrady. She also competed with Jordan DiBiasi, Alana Cook and Michelle Xiao at various U17, U18 and U20 camps.
Streak Breaker...
Duke will have to snap yet another long unbeaten streak as Stanford owns a 14-match unbeaten streak. In the first round, FGCU held an 11-match streak and had not lost since Sept. 20. Florida had a 12-match unbeaten streak prior to the Duke loss and had not lost since Sept. 27. The last Stanford loss came Sept. 20.
Blue Devils Advancing...
The Blue Devils advanced to the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals for the eighth time in school history and the sixth time over the last nine years.
Other quarterfinal appearances for the Blue Devils were in 1992, 1994, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Duke is one of 10 teams that have advanced to the NCAA second round five or more times out of the last six years -- Stanford (6), Florida State (6), Texas A&M (6), Virginia (6), Florida (6), Penn State (6), Notre Dame (6), North Carolina (6), UCLA (5) and Duke (5).
The Blue Devils owns an all-time record of 2-5 in the NCAA quarterfinals. Duke has been shutout at Penn State (1-0) and at Virginia Tech (3-0) in the last two appearances.

Duke in the NCAA Tournament...
The Blue Devils have reached the big show for the 12th time out of the last 13 years and the 21st time in school history. Duke has advanced to the second round of the tournament in 12 out of the last 13 appearances.
The Blue Devils hold an overall record of 29-18-8 in tournament play and advanced to the NCAA Championship match in 2011 before falling to Stanford, 1-0.
Over the last four appearances in the NCAA Tournament, Duke has outscored its opponents, 42-14.
Blue Devil Clean Sheets...
Duke has now collected 13 shutouts on the season, which is the most since the 2011 campaign (16). It is also tied for the second most in school history.
The Blue Devils notched three straight shutouts prior to allowing one goal at Florida. Duke has allowed only three goals during the last nine matches.
In the ACC stats, the Blue Devils rank third in shutouts (13). EJ Proctor ranks first in the league with 10 shutouts.
Looking at the ACC in the Tournament...
Duke is one of only three ACC teams left in the NCAA Tournament, after finishing eighth in the ACC regular season standings. Top-seeded Virginia and Florida State also remain dancing.
Freshman Leading Scorer...
The last time Duke featured a freshman leading scorer was in 2011 when the Blue Devils advanced to the NCAA Championship game. Rookie Kelly Cobb paced Duke on the season with 11 goals and nine assists for 31 points.
So far this season, freshmen Taylor Racioppi and Kayla McCoy lead the Blue Devils with seven goals each. Racioppi owns a team-high 20 points.

• The Blue Devils' have scored 14 goals over the last four matches, which is the most during a four-game stretch since 2012 when Duke totaled 14 as well.
• Freshman Taylor Racioppi was selected to the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week Nov. 18, after scoring one goal and assisting on one other against James Madison.
• After not scoring for 14 straight matches, freshman Taylor Racioppi has netted goals in three out of the last four matches.
• Duke owns a 9-0-2 record this season in night matches, while totaling a 4-5-2 mark during day matches.

Sophomore EJ Proctor owns 10 shutouts on the year to rank second on the Blue Devil single season charts. The season record is 13 from 2011.
Freshmen Kayla McCoy and Taylor Racioppi own seven goals on the season, which ranks tied for 12th on Duke's single season freshman record charts.
Racioppi owns six assists on the season to rank tied sixth on Duke's single season freshman record books. She also owns 80 shots on the year to rank second on the freshman charts and sixth on the overall record book. Racioppi's four game-winning goals rank tied ninth overall and tied second on the freshman charts.
