DURHAM, N.C. – Duke Football's Summer Spotlight series continues with redshirt senior tight end Braxton Deaver.

Deaver, who was granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA, started all 14 games in 2013, catching 46 balls for 600 yards and four touchdowns before missing all of 2014 with an injury. He was a third team All-ACC choice by both the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association and the league's head coaches in 2013.

He looks to be a leader for a tight end unit that is deep on experience this year. Deaver spoke with Blue Devil Network's Dave Harding about his favorite summer activities in Durham, what he sees his role on the team being like this year and how excited he is to be physically cleared to play again.
