DURHAM, N.C. – For the first time since November 29, 2014, the Duke Football team used Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium for a workout. The Blue Devils held Saturday's scrimmage inside the updated facility.
Blue Devil Network caught up with Jeremy Cash, Thomas Sirk, A.J. Wolf, David Cutcliffe and Beck Associate Principal Damian Hamlin about the new video board, field turf and seating areas around the field that are already completed.
In addition to the nearly finished sections of the stadium, a new tower is under construction to replace the Finch-Yeager Building on the west side of the stadium. The tower is not scheduled to be completed until the 2016 campaign.
The Blue Devils open the season on Thursday, September 3, at Tulane. Season tickets remain on sale at GoDuke.com/footballtix or by calling 919-681-BLUE.
