Blue Devils Add More TV Contests to 2015-16 Slate

DURHAM, N.C. – The Blue Devil women's basketball program is excited to announce that ESPN networks have picked up seven additional Duke's contests for the 2015-16 campaign, as announced Wednesday afternoon.  

Duke will now feature 13 contests on either ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPN3 channels this season along with three other games to be aired on the Regional Sports Network (RSN).  

The following home contests in Cameron Indoor Stadium have been selected to be aired on ESPN3 – Texas A&M (Nov. 18), Minnesota (Dec. 3), Wake Forest (Jan. 7), Boston College (Jan. 17), Virginia (Feb. 4) and Florida State (Feb. 11).  The Duke at Kentucky match that will take place Dec. 20, will also be aired live on the SEC Network at 7:00 p.m.

All other home games not aired on television will be carried on Blue Devil Network+, which includes Winthrop (Nov. 15), Army (Nov. 22), UMass (Dec. 14), Liberty (Dec. 17), Western Carolina (Dec. 29), UNC Wilmington (Dec. 31) and Georgia Tech (Feb. 21).  

The Blue Devils return three starters and eight overall letterwinners in 2015-16 as head coach Joanne P. McCallie enters her ninth year with the program.  Duke welcomes the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation that includes five very talented incoming freshmen.  

Duke will open the 2015-16 campaign at Penn Friday, Nov. 13 at 8 p.m.  Prior to the season opener, Duke hosts a Blue/White Scrimmage Oct. 24, exhibition versus Pfeiffer Nov. 5 and a final exhibition Nov. 8 against Saint Leo.
