DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke baseball team is set to host the Czech Republic National Baseball Team for the second time in three years. The Blue Devils take on the Czech National Team at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 6 at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in downtown Durham.
The event is open to the public and admission is free. Chris Edwards will be on the call for the Blue Devil Network's GoDuke.com coverage.
The Blue Devils faced the Czech team in October 2013 in an exhibition game at Jack Coombs Field. Duke won the contest, 13-1.
Tuesday's game is part the Czech Republic National Team's USA tour, which runs from Oct. 2-11. The Czech Republic played exhibition games against NC State, Pitt College and Wake Forest before taking on the Blue Devils and wrap up the tour with games against UNC Wilmington, Coastal Carolina, Campbell and William Peace.
Duke concludes its fall schedule with its annual Fall World Series Oct. 15-17.
