DURHAM, N.C. – After dispatching Elon 17-8 in last week's season opener, Duke hosts its first home contests this weekend at Koskinen Stadium. The Blue Devils welcome Richmond to Durham Friday, Feb. 13 at 4 p.m. before hosting Navy Sunday, Feb. 15 in a 1 p.m. contest. Both games will be streamed live on Blue Devil Network Plus.

Weekend Promotions
Friday's home opener against Richmond will mark the first opportunity for fans to pick up their 2015 schedule posters, schedule cards and key tags … All promotional items will be at the marketing table in Koskinen Stadium … Sunday's contest against Navy will feature a “Cold Hands, Warm Hearts” giveaway … The first 100 fans will receive a voucher for free hot chocolate … Duke ear warmers will also be given away while supplies last. 

Richmond Series History
Duke and the Spiders will square off for the 14th time Friday with the Blue Devils leading the series, 12-1 ... Duke has won each of the last 12 meetings between the squads ... Last year's matchup in Richmond was cancelled due to inclement weather ... The Blue Devils won the 2013 meeting in Durham, 18-10, behind six points from Taylor Trimble ... Defender Gabby Moise tallied three caused turnovers in that win ... Duke is 6-0 all-time against the Spiders when playing at home in Durham.

Scouting the Spiders
Richmond opens its season Friday at Duke after compiling an 11-7 record and a 5-2 mark in the Atlantic-10 a year ago ... The 2014 team reached the Atlantic-10 championship game before falling to Massachusetts, 10-6 ... The Spiders were picked to finish second in their league this year ... Attacker Emily Doyle returns to lead the offense after amassing a team-high 65 points last spring en route to earning first team all-conference recognition ... Richmond also returns midfielder Anna Jeszeck, a second team All-Atlantic 10 pick and goalkeeper Emily Boyce.

Blue Devils vs. the Atlantic-10
The Duke program is 30-2 all-time against teams currently in the Atlantic-10 ... The Blue Devils went 1-0 against A-10 opponents last season, defeating Davidson by a 21-2 score in March of 2014.

Navy Series History
Duke will take on the Mids for the first time since the teams squared off in the second round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament ... Five different Blue Devils scored in that contest and the defense held Navy without a goal for over 40 minutes to fuel a 10-5 Duke victory ... Goalkeeper Kelsey Duryea reached double digits in the save column with 10 stops ... The Blue Devils are 2-0 historically against the Mids and 1-0 when hosting them in Durham.

Scouting the Mids
Navy dispatched Longwood 17-2 in its season opener last weekend in Annapolis ... Eight different players scored for the Mids and 12 different players recorded at least one caused turnover in the win ... The squad returns two of its top goal scorers from a year ago in Loren Generi and Katie Gallagher ... Generi also tallied 111 draw controls in 2014 ... Navy's defense features three returning starters as well as goalkeeper Annie Foky, who posted a 10-1 record last spring before missing the rest of the season due to injury ... The Mids play at Liberty Friday before traveling to Durham.

Navy Connections
The Mids are coached by Cindy Timchal, the all-time NCAA leader in career wins (446) for any division in men's and women's lacrosse ... Timchal was at the helm of the Maryland program during Duke head coach Kerstin Kimel's collegiate career there (1990-93) ... Former Blue Devil standout and U.S. national team member Meg Huether ('06) is in her first season as a volunteer assistant coach at Navy, overseeing the program's goalkeepers ... Former Duke men's lacrosse player Josh Dionne ('14) also joined the Navy staff as an assistant coach prior to the start of the 2015 season and directs the team's offensive attack.

A Look at Duke
The Blue Devils enter their home opener with a 1-0 mark and ranked sixth in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll and eighth in the IWLCA Coaches Poll ... The squad opened the spring with a 17-8 victory at Elon last weekend ... Duke was picked to finish third in the ACC by a vote of the league's eight head coaches last week ... Seniors Kerrin Maurer and Taylor Trimble were selected to the Preseason All-ACC Team ... Trimble Reaches Century Mark
Senior midfielder Taylor Trimble recorded the 100th goal of her career in the season-opening win over the Phoenix ... The goal came on an assist from Brigid Smith with 12 seconds remaining in the first half ... Trimble is one of just 16 players in program history to top the century mark ... She also surpassed 100 draw controls for her career against Elon and ranks 19th at Duke in career points (118).

Blue Devils Moving Up Career Lists
Senior attacker Kerrin Maurer continues to be one of Duke's most dependable playmakers up front ... She enters the home opener ranked third in program history in career assists (89) and seventh in career points (209) ... The Setauket, N.Y., native is one of just nine players all-time at Duke with 200 or more points for her career ... Maurer is also 12th in career goals with 120 ... Junior goalkeeper Kelsey Duryea owns 290 saves for her career to rank sixth at Duke.

The Setauket, N.Y., native scored multiple goals in 18 of 19 contests last spring and posted multiple assists nine times ... Four Blue Devils were named to the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook Preseason All-America teams ... 2014 second team IWLCA All-American Kerrin Maurer was tabbed to the first team after quarterbacking the Duke offense as a junior last spring ... Seniors Gabby Moise and Taylor Trimble appeared on the third team ... Moise is a two-year starter on defense while Trimble tied for second on the team in points last year (32g, 8a) ...
